“It is lonely at the top”. One of
the difficulties in running a small
business is the lack of informed,
objective counsel and advice or just
a “second opinion” on major issues
and decisions facing our business.
Fortunately, there are a number of
organizations in Chicago where one
can interface and dialogue with
peers who have faced the same
decisions in their own business.
Here you can openly seek advice and
support from experienced
entrepreneurs in non-competitive
businesses. Moreover, each
organization hosts conferences,
forum, networking events, etc. that
could lead to exposure in the local
market, contact, leads and business
growth. The websites of these
entities have calendars of events.
We have listed some of the more
prominent organizations for your
